Zephyr Breath Instructional Video

Rori SmithContinuum Demonstrations

Learn a simple breath to release jaw tension, reduce discomfort in the head and neck and unlock the diaphragm. The Zephyr Breath, named after the personification of the west wind, is a gentle breath which also helps cue the parasympathetic nervous system to soothe and settle because exhalations gradually lengthen with practice. Created by Continuum teacher Linda Rabin in collaboration with colleague Elaine Colandrea – both members of the Continuum Teachers Association. Elaine Colandrea guides the presentation on behalf of Watermark Arts. www.watermarkarts. org – an endeavor that unites somatic practice and artistic expression.
