Willingness to hold the moon infinite
In it’s golden round body
Riding the low continuous sound
That holds variation
Generous in its nature
To change
They say they want change
And yet they get out of bed every morning
With the same train of trumping thoughts
Going through their heads
A soundless existence
And we have this
A body, whole and full
Always working to somehow keep us well
Heart beating
Use those beats for something good
Let the pause between them change you
Let the rim of your life glass
Shimmy with possibility
Feel the condensation drip down
The inside of your skin
And drink
Explore the seam on the other side of your mattress
Let your feet dangle off the strange edge of difference
Inhale the side of the world that’s not yours
Learn
Feel
Dignify in this newness
Let your hand be shaped like a cup
Those on the other side can drink from it
The handle, your heart beating and pausing
To see all the colors of all the eyes everywhere
Willingness to hold
Hold willingly
