Judi Bachrach took her first Continuum workshop with Emilie Conrad in 1994 exploring alternative ways to work with her diagnosis of MS. As a spiritual seeker, dancer/choreographer, singer/songwriter, and psychotherapist, Judi found Continuum to be the perfect modality to enhance her health and inspire her practice and creative gifts. She has said, “After my first serious MS exacerbation when my second daughter was born, I began to search for original ways of breathing, moving and singing that preceded my illness. When I met Emilie, it was as if I had been trying to read a road map in the dark. Emilie’s work turned the lights on and offered me skillful tools of wholeness that I had barely begun to imagine.”

Judi has taught and internalized Continuum and it continues to influence all she does. Living in an assisted living area of Kendal, a retirement community in Ohio, at 69 years old she is still ambulatory after over 50 years of MS and credits this work as a primary source of health despite physical compromises. As her poetry reveals, the reality of who we are is never far from her life path.
